My 6 1/2 year old really wanted an iCarly backpack this year for school, and we searched high and low to find one that had both Carly and Sam on it. We finally found this one and my daughter was very excited to get it. The problem is it took about 1 month before all the images started to peel off!! Remember the iron-ons of yesterday? That is what this is like - the images are ironed on a shiny background, and just like the old iron-ons, they don't stay there :( It started with the flowers, then the images of Carley and Sam started to peel. I tried super gluing them back on - that lasted about a week before they peeled off again.
Now before anyone wonders, I watched my daughter with the backpack, and she was not playing with the images causing them to peel. Since the backpack was only for school, she essentially took it to school (where they had to put their backpacks in a cubby), then left it on the coat rack as soon as she got home.
What's worse, my daughter was so disappointed with this backpack that she went back to her Selena Gomez backpack she had last year!! She doesn't even use this backpack anymore - what a waste!!
