They can text like adults; these text messengers work in a closer range than real cell phones. My granddaughter and her friends think it is their favorite toy. It was a good choice as a gift for her.

Fisher Price Go Diego Go Walkie-Talkie Review

(More customer reviews)I bought these for my daughter who is four because I thought she would get a kick out of them. But unfortunately we live near the interstate and these walkie talkies will pick up truckers communicating on CB radio. In the first 10 minutes of playing with them she was exposed to plenty of colorful language. Plus she got yelled at for talking on their channel. Sooo, I guess for this review I would say the product has excellent range and reception. The swear words were coming in crystal clear. For educational value they are also excellent in that it greatly expands their vocabulary. But I returned them right away.
