(More customer reviews)I received this backpack recently. It was my 5 1/2 year old son's pick. When we opened the box, he was ecstatic. It's very sparkly and colorful and a great medium size for a smaller child. It can fit a full-size homework folder inside, plus a reasonably sized lunch box and a folded sweater. I later noticed that the large front pocket is all cut up, or cracked in several places. The front pocket fabric consists of just a thin plastic-y type material and not even the regular cheap material that is used for the rest of the bag. I must send it back. It was packaged properly, so it must have been defective/damaged before shipping. My son wants to reorder, even if the next one is perfect out of the box but then gets ruined throughout the course of a kindergartener's shenanigans. I have no hopes that this will last more than a few months. It is not durable, but then again, what kid stuff is these days?!
