(More customer reviews)I bought this watch as a reward present for my 3 year old finally making the switch from diapers to big boy underpants. He loves Diego and and always wears my watch and pretends it is the video watch, so I thought this would be the perfect surprise. Of course it was a huge hit and he was more than ecstatic!! Needless to say it's design is cheap and it broke the second day he had it when he was trying to take it off. Also, it is disappointing that it doesn't have any sound or anything like the "real" video watch on the show. It's creators definitely could have put a little more imagination and ingenuity into this item.
It is made very fragile...the strap pulled out of the side with hardly any pressure (I was watching him take it off and saw it happen). He was so devastated that he cried all morning. I am ordering another one b/c he is so upset and wants another. However, I would not recommend this product to anyone. I also ordered a real watch with Diego on the dial from Nickjr.com. It doesn't look just like the video watch but atleast I know it won't break in two days!!! I should have done the printout watch from Nickjr.com as a paper version made by myself would have been just as sturdy as this watch!
