When we bought it, we just thought it was cute and would be a fun thing, but it is very functional as well as cute! It holds the leap pad, books and cartridges so that nothing gets lost. Its great when she wants to take all her leap pad stuff somewhere, since everything is already together. All she has to do is grab her backpack and away she goes. I would recommend it to anyone who buys a leap pad system!!
