It's adjustable so anyone can wear it, I am 23 and I wear it. =)
If you're going to buy it, buy it on Amazon because I purchased mine for about 15 bucks cheaper than if I had bought it from Hot Topic, so I am very pleased!
Absolutely awesome backpack, bottom line.
(Update: This backpack is very well put together! The zipper being plastic doesn't seem to hurt anything, and hasn't broke like my other plush backpack! However, I did have an issue with the little loop that holds the backback rope...they came out of the foot. However, easy fix and I still love it!)
